Lee Parsons

Lee O. Parsons, 62, died on January 5, 2014 after a period of declining health.
Lee was born in Alexandria, VA on Feb 18, 1951 to Albro Parsons and Cynthia Johnson Parsons Baldridge.
Lee had many interests that lead to a variety of jobs and pursuits.  He spent 8 years in the Army, 1969 to 1977.  This time period notably included two tours of duty in Vietnam, as well as time spent in Germany, Hawaii and other locations.  He left the Army as a Communications Chief.  This experience started his lifelong love of communications and electronics.  Lee considered Boise, Idaho his hometown, and so moved there when discharged from the Army.  While there, he worked at HP until he moved to Massachusetts in the 80’s.  Lee completed his Bachelor’s degree and was then a newspaper reporter for a variety of papers on Cape Cod.  He later studied for the ministry at Andover-Newton Theological School and rounded out his working life by owning and operating a computer repair business in Fitzwilliam, NH.  He retired at age 60 due a variety of health challenges.
Lee also enjoyed a number of hobbies, including using and repairing all kinds of electronic equipment, target shooting, Red Sox baseball, travel and spending time with his wife, Debbie and their families and friends.  He was actively involved in Ruthless Riders 7th Squadron 17th Air Cavalry Association where he held the position of Secretary for a number of years.  Lee also loved his dogs, Shatzie, Bailey and Darwin and many others over the years and was an enthusiastic supporter of Fast Friends Greyhound Rescue.
Lee is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Debbie; his siblings, Tyler Parsons of Corvallis, Oregon, Janet Peterson and husband Rod, of Meridian, Idaho, Lisa Linhares and husband Rob, of Wareham, Massachusetts and Scott Parsons of Alamagordo, New Mexico;  as well as mother-in-law, brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
